Questions, answered
What exactly does Meridian charge?
There's no monthly fee. Meridian takes a small commission on payments you process through the platform — 5% on cohort tuition and 8% on paid experiences — netted automatically per payment via Stripe. Nothing is ever invoiced to you, and founding hubs are price-locked.
Is it live yet?
Hubs can apply now to join the founding cohort and help shape the product. The family app launches in 2026 — join a hub and you'll get an invite link the day it's ready.
How do payments and payouts work?
Payments run on Stripe Connect. Families pay your own connected Stripe account directly; you're the merchant of record and payouts go straight to your bank. Meridian never holds your funds — it only takes its commission as a Stripe application fee.
Which countries and currencies are supported?
Anywhere Stripe Connect operates. You set your hub's base charge currency; families see an estimate in their own currency, and you're paid out in yours.
Who owns the data?
You do. Hubs never see each other's families, families control what they share, and you can export everything at any time — full portability, no lock-in.
Is it just for worldschools?
No — the same tools fit worldschooling hubs, microschools, and summer or school-break camps. Anyone running dated, age-based programs for other people's kids.
